We are located in the heart of Washington DC's 14th street corridor. Pilar has been a staple in the neighborhood for the last decade. The restaurant and bar has a fresh approach to dining and cocktails.'Our chefs pride themselves in only using the freshest of products from local farmers such as Tuscarora Farms, D'Artganan and Green Circle Farms. Though we are serious about food, our bar will always remain as a gathering place for good times and where great memories are made.

HEMINGWAY INSPIRIED
Ernest Hemingway’s boat, Pilar, inspired some of the world’s greatest novels, contributed to scientific research with the Smithsonian, and served as the vessel for the author’s many exploits in the waters off the Keys. How could we not name the restaurant after her?
