Our Clock Repair Process

We take utmost care to make sure your clock is repaired in the best possible manner and take pride in our highest standard of craftsmanship. Our goal with every clock repair is to return it back to its best state so it looks as well as works just as new.

Depending on the condition of the clock, our trained Horologists perform different tasks ranging from cleaning, repair to replacement of parts if necessary.

Let us provide you a brief insight into our clock repair process:

Movement is disassembled and ultrasonically cleaned.

All the parts are examined to check for damage and wear as well as correct operation.

Required repair work is performed such as repair of pinions, bushing the pivot holes if they are worn, repair of mainspring ratchets, polishing of pivots and checking mainsprings.

Pivot holes are cleaned using pegwood.

Movement is assembled, lubricated, tested and regulated.

Movement is put into the case, put into beat, strike is adjusted and other necessary adjustments are made.

Clock is finally bench-tested and regulated to ensure correct timekeeping, before before being handed over to customer.
