MEET THE DOCTOR

Dr. Terry Tinker was born in Stillwater, Oklahoma, and spent his early years growing up in Oklahoma, Indiana and graduating from hig school in Hollywood, California. In 1976, his family moved back to Norman, Oklahoma. He attended the University of Oklahoma, receiving his Bachelors of Business in 1981, his Masters degree in Human Development in 1984, and his Doctorate of Dental Surgery in 1988 from the University of Oklahoma College of Dentistry.

During his 20 plus years of treating patients, Dr. Tinker received his Preceptorship in Dental Implantology from the University of Texas in 1997, became a Fellow in The International Congress of Oral Implantologists in 1998 and a Fellow of the J. Dean Robertson Society in 2003. Dr. Tinker is also a member of the Oklahoma School of Business Administration Alumni and a previous member of the ODA and ADA.

In 2004, Dr. Tinker met Dr. Ed Seaburg, purchased his practice and moved to Tulsa.

Dr. Terry Tinker and his office staff knows how important it is for a patient to choose a qualified dental office that meets their needs and expectations.Ours is a family practice, providing treatment for patients of all ages.

Dr. Terry Tinker has been provideing exceptional dental care to his patients for over 20 years. He takes great pride in providing the most personal and complete dental care to all his patients. Dr. Tinker welcomes all patient's concerns and questions, taking great care and consideration while diagnosing, explaining and providing their dental treatment needs.

Our office has two wonderful hygienists, Carol Glenn RDH and Janis Russell RDH, who combined have over 40 years of experience. Lee Ann Bishop help the patient's with scheduling and insurance, and Alla Zagorodny is Dr. Tinker's gentle dental assistant.

Dr. Tinker’s philosophy is that proper prevention is where a patient’s dental health begins. Our office offers personal dental care from dental cleanings, xrays and exams, to preventative dentistry, endodontics, restorative dentistry, dentures and partials, crowns and bridges, oral surgery and dental implants. Patients of all ages are greatly welcomed in our practice and we welcome new patients and referrals.

Dr. Tinker knows that a few patients may be anxious regarding dental treatment. Therefore, our office offers nitrous oxide (commonly known as laughing gas) that may be utilized for not only dental treatment, but for cleanings as well.

We honor American Express, Mastercard, Visa and Discover credit cards, as well as CitiCard, benecards and Care Credit finance options.

2) Insurance Companies

Dr. Tinker accepts the majority of insurance companies and is preferred provider for the following insurance companies: Delta Dental, Aetna, Health Choice, Blue Cross/Blue Shield, Assurant, Cigna, Met Life, Guardian, United Concordia, and Humana. We also accept Delta Dental Patient Direct discount program. Our front office will verify your insurance, provide out of pocket estimates, and will send in pre-determination of benefits at a patient’s request as well as filing your insurance claims.
