1) Traditional Chinese Medicine

TCM is an ancient medical system that takes a deep understanding of the laws and patterns of nature and applies them to the human body. TCM is not new nor is it a patchwork of different healing modalities; rather it is a complete medical system that has been practiced for more than five thousand years.

At the heart of TCM is the tenet that the root cause of illnesses must be treated, not their symptoms. In modern-day terms, TCM is holistic in its approach; it views every aspect of a person’s body, mind, spirit, and emotions as part of one complete circle rather than loosely connected pieces to be treated individually, as in Western medicine.

The major TCM modalities include Chinese Herbology, Acupuncture (dry needling and Acupoint Injection), TuiNa (Chinese massage/structural osteopathic alignments) and QiGong (Chinese energy exercises). You will find additional information on these practices in the corresponding categories below.

2) Ozone Therapy

OZONE THERAPY – Injections, Inhaled Ozonides, Ear Applications & More

Injection Therapies are an acupuncture system that incorporates neuroscience and European medical science into its clinical applications for pain management, orthopedic conditions, and internal medicine.

Ozone therapy is the use of medical grade ozone, a highly reactive form of pure oxygen, to create a curative response in the body. The body has the potential to renew and regenerate itself. When it becomes sick it is because this potential has been blocked. The reactive properties of ozone stimulate the body to remove many of these impediments thus allowing the body to do what it does best – heal itself.
From a biomedical perspective, the therapeutic benefits of ozone may be broadly understood as: oxygenation, sterilization/detoxification and regeneration.

From a TCM (Traditional Chinese Medicine) perspective, oxygenation relates to the treatment of Blood Stasis. Sterilization relates to the treatment of Toxic Heat. And thirdly, regeneration relates to the treatment of Deficiency of Qi.

3) Prolozone Injection Therapy

Prolozone is a homeopathic/oxygen-ozone injection technique developed by Dr. Frank Shallenberger. It combines the natural principles of Biopuncture, which is the injection therapy use of liquid homeopathic medicines, with the Dextrose and Procaine used in Prolotherapy and NeuroPuncture therapy and adding medical grade Ozone used in Ozone Therapy.

Each component of Prolozone therapy has a specific biological purpose. Procaine acts to re-establish cellular membrane potentials. Anti-inflammatory agents decrease edema and swelling. The inclusion of vitamins and minerals provides necessary substrates of oxygen utilization that in damaged tissues are often deficient. And finally, oxygen utilization is directly stimulated by ozone.

It is excellent for all forms of musculo-skeletal and joint pain including chronic neck and back pain, rotator cuff injuries, degenerative and arthritic hips and knees, degenerated discs, and shoulder and elbow pain. Because in many cases Prolozone actually corrects the pathology of the disorder, there is a 75% chance for the chronic pain sufferer to becoming permanently pain free.

4) Acupuncture

Acupuncture is an ancient form of TCM (Traditional Chinese Medicine) involving the insertion of solid filiform acupuncture needles into the skin at specific points on the body to achieve a therapeutic effect. No drug is injected. The needles alone create the beneficial effects of acupuncture. Acupuncture is used to encourage natural healing, improve mood and energy, reduce of relieve pain and improve function of affected areas of the body. It is safe and effective and is often successfully used as an alternative to medications or surgery.

5) Ozone Insufflation

Inhaled Ozone: Inhaled ozone is bubbled through olive oil prior to inhalation via nasal tubing that inserts into the nostrils. The gas released after passing through the bubbler no longer contains ozone gas, but contains a high percentage of ozonides. Ozonides react with the lung and nasal/sinus membranes and have a strong sterilization effect on fungal and bacterial infection in the sinuses and lungs. The ozonides are also absorbed into the blood stream for a systemic effect. The effects of inhaled ozone on dental pain are outstanding and indicates that sinus issues and infection have a major role in dental pain.

Ear Ozone Application: Ear ozone is applied by means of an ear ozone stethoscope. The ozone is run through a bubbler system filled with water prior to being introduced to the ear canal. The ear application is very effective for dental issues, ear infections, sinus infections, swollen tonsils and throat infections. Also, Tinnitus and brain cancer are treated with ear ozone applications.

Rectal Insufflation with Ozone: Used to treat Alzheimer’s, Colitis, Crohn’s disease, fungal/yeast, bacterial or parasitical infections: Ozone gas is delivered into the rectum via a cannula (flexible tube)/ozone rectal bag. Ozone concentrations are set according to the case. A higher concentration is administered when ulcerative colitis bleeding is occurring and a lower concentration is used to directly repair the intestinal lining. In a study performed in Cuba with patients suffering from senile dementia of the Alzheimer’s type, 76% of patients improved after only a month of ozone treatment.

Vaginal Insufflation with Ozone: Vaginal infections are treated this way.

Ozone therapy using Ozonated Olive Oil:
Shingles and herpes simplex are treated using ozonated olive oil.

Anti-cancer benefits: Medical ozone is such a wonder for treatment of cancer in that it doesn’t harm healthy cells but it oxidizes and destroys unhealthy cells including cancer cells, viruses, bacteria, fungal cells and other unwanted cells. How does it affect only the unhealthy cells? Ozone (O3) is broken down in the blood to a single oxygen and hydrogen peroxide by normal cells in the tissues of the body by enzymes such as catalase. Malignant cells lack these enzymes and ozone oxidizes the outer layer of their cells and causes tumor cell destruction (lysis). This has been demonstrated in the prestigious Journal of Science, Vol. 209, Aug 22, 1980. in a paper entitled “Ozone Selectively Inhibits Growth of Human Cancer Cells.” Human lung, breast and uterine cancer cell growth was inhibited more than 90 per cent at non-toxic ozone doses.
