Excellent care is given to each and every horse.'Trina Holton has 25 years of experience taking horses from young, unhandled, or unbroken, to finished, equine companions that can perform in whatever discipline the owner would like. Whether you want an excellent trail horse, to a finished show horse that can compete on a national level, Trina can fulfill your dreams. Trina has trained numerous horses from 4-H to world and national awards. The horses are trained in a manner that anyone can ride the horse. Clients are welcome to come by at anytime and watch the training process. It is important that the owner knows how to ride the horse in which it was trained; therefore one free riding lesson per week is included in the cost of training. Trina is an honest trainer who values her excellent reputation, if she feels that a horse will not meet your needs or be able to compete in the event in which you want it to, Trina will tell you up front so that you do not waste your time or money.'We also offer riding lessons from beginning to advanced, English or western.

Trina McGown Performance horses is now Pleasant Valley Horse Center LLC. We are a full care boarding and training center just three miles off the Orchard exit in Boise.

Absolutely love the facility! Now we can actually have horses and not have to own our own farm! It’s just a short distance from home. The best part is all the wonderful barn buddies we have met, and became friends with! Trina and her staff are the best!

I am thrilled with Trina's boarding facility. Love the wide open space, friendly people and accessibility. Great facilities, really appreciate the trailer parking, and hay quality is fabulous. Riders of all disciplines and levels seem welcome. I really appreciate knowing that I can use my own farrier, dentist, vet, etc, or take of advantage of the barn's providers. Thanks! This facility is such a blessing to my mare and I!

I love Trina's barn.It's a great place to keep a horse. I always know my horse will be given the best care possible. The trail riding is wonderful, the people are friendly, the facilities are exceptional, and the horses are happy! I wouldn't board my horse anywhere else.

I have spent a lot of time at Trina's facility. They treat our horses with amazing respect, disciple and everything they need to become the incredible equine we want them to be. Trina's boarding facilities are the perfect place to keep a horse! The workers are wonderful with all the animals including the horses, they love what they do and know exactly what your horse needs. It is even dog friendly! The people there are wonderful too! Free trailer parking, free use of facilities, new wash bay, multiple tack rooms. Hands down Boise's top pick for all your equine needs.

I love it at Trina's! :) I have boarded my two horses at Trina McGown Performance Horses for the past 8 years and I wouldn't go anywhere else! The facility is perfect...it is super close to my house and work and is easy to get to from anywhere in the valley (3 miles off the Orchard exit). There are two arenas (one is fully indoor), round pens, turn out arenas, 100's of trail miles, wash bay, tack rooms, FREE trailer parking etc. I can't say enough about how great it is. People are incredible and by far the best hay is fed year round! Thanks for an incredible 8 years Trina!
