Every Penny Counts Bookkeeping, LLC was started in April 2007. I found myself in the position of having to be self-supporting after ending a 25-year marriage. In high school I took business math and related subjects and was hired as an Accounts Receivable clerk at age 16. I have had quite a few jobs over the course of my life and started at least four other types of businesses, but always return to bookkeeping, realizing that it is what I do best.

Over the years I have become proficient in Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable,Invoicing, Payroll, General Journal Entry and sales tax reporting for California and Washington.

At one point I thought I might like to be a CPA but after just over 2 years of college, I realized I really didn't want to work in the corporate world nor did I want to do
taxes.

I have been using QuickBooks for many years and became a QuickBooks Pro Advisor
in 2008.
