I started Susan LaCava, S.C. in 1992 to work on plaintiffs antitrust class actions. Over the years, I have represented consumers in over 30 class actions, mostly involving price fixing conspiracies between large international corporations.
I graduated from Indiana University School of Law magna cum laude in 1983. I was an editor on the Law Journal and am a member of the Order of the Coif, a scholastic honorary society for the top 10% of a law school class. I also clerked for the Honorable John L. Coffey on the United State Court of Appeals for the Seventh Circuit. After I finished my clerkship, I worked for Quarles & Brady, a Milwaukee law firm and received extensive training in litigation with an emphasis on business and corporate matters. I left Quarles & Brady in 1992 to (finally) represent consumers.
