1) Free Courtesy Check

Here at Dave's we don't just want to fix what ails your vehicle today. We want you to get the most value out of your vehicle over the long hall. This is accomplished by performing a free courtesy check at every service visit. This will eliminate higher cost repairs down the road through early problem detection and recommending maintenance items that will lengthen the life of your vehicle.

A courtesy check is a visual inspection of the entire vehicle that includes, belts, hoses, cooling system, brakes, tires, air filter, battery, suspension, air conditioning, wiper blades, exhaust, leaks, etc... Maintenance recommendation are based on visual, mileage history and your future wants for the vehicle.

Keeping your vehicle maintained and heading off major repairs can keep you in your vehicle long after payments have ended, saving you up to $30,000 in the long run

Dave's free shuttle service is here for you. It is available to you anytime of the day. It is best to schedule the shuttle service ahead of time so that we can plan our pick up and deliveries to meet your needs.

Even though brake failure tops the list of mechanical failures feared by drivers. It also is the leading cause of traffic accidents attributable to mechanical defect. Brake failure is nearly always preventable. A thorough braking system checkup includes inspection of: pads & shoes for lining wear, drums & rotors for wear, wheel cylinders & callipers for leakage, hydraulic lines & hoses for leaks, kinks & blockages, and fluid in master cylinder for level and condition.

An ideal time to have this inspection done is when the vehicle is on the lift for tire rotation or other service. If brake work is necessary, invest in quality. The "price" brake job seldom is a bargain. The better grade of friction materials (pads and/or linings), for example, will last longer and perform better than substandard grade.

A Quality job will include flushing of the hydraulic system and installation of new, heavy duty fluid.

Drums and rotors would be resurfaced; parts worn beyond safe limits replaced. Brake hardware, which includes dozens of springs, bushings and other parts, are subject to rust and corrosion and should be replaced.

If safety and peace of mind are not incentive enough for having one's brakes inspected periodically, try this: the cost of waiting too long to renew disk brakes pads could mean an added expense for replacing a pair of damaged rotors.

We will hook our gauges to you air conditioing system. Check level and operation. If it is low or inoperative, we will check and report for any obvious problems. Freon and charging is extra. We always include a dye in our charge process and sometimes requires a second vivit to detect leak.
