Double C Canvas & Repairs was started in 1994, by Roy and Mary Childres. Working out of a small rented warehouse, Roy and Mary repaired and manufactured tarps. At that time, Roy also pounded the pavement making sales calls, while Mary helped in the evenings after her regular full time job. Sue Yarger, Mary's sister, came on in 1996 to help with sewing and now is the office manager and head of the shipping department. In 1996, Double C Canvas incorporated and became a Women Owned Business.'Today, Double C Canvas & Repairs is a thriving company. With the help of dedicated employees, Roy has innovated and experimented with different ideas and brought them to fruition. While still selling and repairing tarps, they also manufacture custom awnings and curtains and supply the trucking industry with flatbed hauling equipment.'Double C Canvas & Repairs continues to thrive through the continuous support of its customers, great employees, and dedication to customer service.
