During the summer enjoy our beautiful Outdoor Dining, especially on a Friday evening with live Jazz. In the winter we take the Jazz inside and both Friday and Saturday evening our baby grand piano is put to good use by some of the best jazz players in town. The ambiance of Suzette's is warm and cozy, welcoming and congenial. We offer a relaxed atmosphere in the European Style and invite our customers to have a dining experience of excellent food, great unrushed service and a quiet noise level to encourage conversation among the table guests. Our guests also have the option of looking over our French Inspired Bakery - patisserie - and to choose a dessert from its offerings or from our dessert menu. Our award winning all French Wine List has been specifically prepared with our food in mind and ranges from moderate to more expensive, hard to find French wines. For an interactive dining experience, we encourage our customers to sign up for one of our classes in both cooking and food and wine pairings.

In 1996, owner Donna Hesik, visited Paris for the first time. She became fascinated by the street vendors selling crepes. At that time crepes were not popular in the United States and only available at the local pancake houses, which were quite different than the ones she experienced in Paris. With her marketing and advertising background, the thought of bringing this to the United States grew until within a year she designed her own crepe cart and hit the streets of Chicago's Western Suburbs during the summer months selling crepes. By her third summer of selling crepes she found herself three days week on State Street in Chicago. She also realized her dream needed to grow. The following July of 2000, Suzette's Creperie, the restaurant was opened. Since that time the restaurant has expanded multiple times and has grown from just a small bistro to also include a French-inspired bakery - patisserie - ; an award winning Wine List; a beautiful patio for summer outdoor dining; a cooking school and the recipient of many awards and achievements.
