Edward (“Ted”) W. McBride, Jr. is an experienced trial attorney licensed in both Utah and New York. Ted specializes in insurance litigation, representing both victims and defendants in personal injury and professional malpractice cases. Ted has successfully tried dozens of cases before juries in New York, Utah and Arizona. He is an expert trial attorney.

Ted is a member of the New York and Utah Bars. He received a B.S. in Government from Skidmore College (Saratoga Springs, New York) in 1989. Ted received a J.D., magna cum laude, from Vermont Law School in 1993 and was a member of Vermont Law Review. In 1993 he published The Empire State SLAAPs Back: New York’s Legislative Response to SLAAP Suits, 17 Vt. L. Rev. 925.

After graduating from Vermont Law School in 1993, Ted set up practice in his hometown of Goshen, New York, where he specialized in personal injury claims and commercial disputes. During the five years he practiced in New York, Ted tried over twenty cases before juries.

Since coming to Utah in 1998, Ted has developed a practice that includes representing personal injury victims, prosecuting medical malpractice cases and insurance defense. His current and former insurance company clients include: Acceptance Insurance Company, Chubb Group of Insurance Companies, Crum & Forster, TIG Insurance Group, California State of Automobile Insurance Company, Farm Bureau Mutual Insurance Company, Scottsdale Insurance Company, Wasatch Crest Mutual Insurance Company, Empire Fire and Marine Insurance Company, Unitrin Specialty Lines Insurance, Western Health Network, Inc., and LAWA, Inc.
