The philosophy behind karate is vast and complex. The art stems from thousands of years of armed and unarmed combat. Techniques that were perfected hundreds of years ago are still being perfected over and over again by each generation. Taekwondo have played a big part in the development of the martial philosophy.

By the time a student graduates to orange belt, all students are encourage to join one of these programs. In these programs our students work on mastering stances, balance, and power. Their kicks, strikes, and blocks will not be effective if you don't have the right stance.

Swords -- Are used primarily for cutting or thrusting, Knives -- are a cutting edge blade. Kama--sometimes referred to as the kai or double kai... Eskrima--are umbrella terms for the traditional martial arts of the Philippines that emphasize weapon-based fighting. Bo Staff--a bo, bong (Korean term) or kon (Chinese term is a very tall and long staff weapon used in Okinawa and feudal Japan.
