Alonzo Kallemeyn at age 16 was taken from school and placed in a letterpress printing office. The year was 1934, the place was the south side of Chicago. Not for nothin�, Bo Diddley happened to arrive there from Mississippi the same year. Ever since, Kallemeyns have had an everyday, passionate love-hate relationship with letterpress printing. The scenes, the locations, and the craft itself have changed. The strength and passion of the relationship is still strong.
