She then, as our Angel of Green, did something no other company had done - she designed products that were the same or better quality than what was being offered by established brand names - yet, she designed these products with what would normally be considered waste... recycling paper and plastic bottles into durable, fashionable goods - thereby proving that beauty arises from imagination about what could be, not what is, turning waste into luxury.


She doesn't waste waste. Her efforts have turned what would have been hundreds of thousands of plastic bottles or pieces of paper from perhaps dying a slow death in a landfill to giving them a new purpose, and therefore, a new life as a durable luxury good.


This extreme upcycling that she believed was possible changed what consumers thought about the beauty and durability of repurposing recyclable material.
