Kick back, relax, enjoy the beauty that surrounds you. We are located on a gentle hill overlooking 100 acres of pastures and ponds where beautiful horses graze. At The Oaks you will find luxury, serenity, and amenities that speak of Southern hospitality.
We offer a beautiful swimming pool and spa where you can schedule a fun party or relax before your event.
Elegant rooms, cozy sitting areas, as well as a huge greatroom ( with a fully functioning stone fireplace) large enough for meetings, seasonal parties, weddings, receptions, or other special life events. A full kitchen is available (on premise cooking by employees only, microwave provided).
There are indoor areas great for your scrap booking, cropping, stitching, quilting, yoga classes, and small and large clubs as well as corporate retreats. The grounds have beautifully landscaped areas for weddings, family reunions, or just a picnic on the grounds.
The surrounding area offers so much to do, unsurpassed antique shopping, a nearby nature preserve, a great zoo, museums, excellent restaurants, as well as Amtrac service featuring the famous "Silver Streak." Don't forget about Canton's famous "First Monday " shopping experience only a 20-minute drive from our location.

Weddings & Receptions
The main house is the perfect setting for that special day. The Great Room is large enough to set up as you desire for your formal ceremony or the reception of your dreams. There is plenty of room to accomodate your reception needs and plenty of room for your wedding party to prepare at the same time, making your day much simplier.
The grounds have beautifully landscaped sites suitable for an outside ceremony. Choose from a backdrop of the beautiful fishing pond or in the front courtyard covered in flagstone. Take gorgeous pictures standing on our creek bridge among the trees or in front of our smaller pond filled with water lilies. There is plenty of room for roaming for your guests.
You are welcome to do the decorating/cartering yourself with no additional costs from us or we can help you prepare for your day taking care of those details you don't have time for. See our catering page for choices that you may like from our menu for your reception or rehearsal dinner.
Weddings are such a special time, we prefer to make arrangements by phone or in person so we can get to know you better enabling us to make this your most memorable occasion.

Served buffet style and a minimum of 35 required for all menus.
$30.00 per person menu includes choice of prime rib or lamb.
$20.00 per person menu includes choice of Shrimp/Crawfish Ettoufe', Pork Chops(broiled, pan fried, smothered-choice of seasonings), Mouthwatering Roast Beef, or Pork Loin.
All of the above served with your choice with 2 of the following:
Salad or cole slaw, choice potatoes your style, choice green beans your style, steamed mix vegetable medley, or glazed carrots.
All of our main courses served with our famous Chocolate Rum or Pound Cake, rolls, coffee, and tea.
Lighter Choices-$15.50-$17.50 per person:
- Chicken Fried Steak gravy/mashed potatoes/salad or BBQ Brisket, baked beans, cole slaw
- Chicken ala King, soup and salad
- Chicken/tuna salad plate with soup
- Quiche with soup and salad
- Various wraps with soup and salad
All above served with dessert, tea, and coffee.
We also have a large selection of party trays and finger foods: $10.00 to $12.00 per person on average depending on choices of the following.
Meat/cheese, sandwich on croissants or sub to include meat, tuna/chicken/pimento salads, relish/fruit/vegetable trays, dip trays-spinach, queso, tomato/cottage cheese, deviled egg trays, chicken wing trays, swedish meatballs in sauce.
Any of these choices can accommodate your party or wedding needs including rehearsal dinners.

The Grand Oak SuiteOur Bridal/Master is an ultimate suite. Featuring 2 sitting areas, huge private bath where you can soak in the over sized tub to release some stress, or just step out onto the private veranda where you can sit and relax for a moment before your event.
Cabana Spa / Poolside Suite Our Cabana is the perfect setting for fun and relaxation. Enjoy entry into a relaxing sitting area pool side. Great for graduation parties or summer birthday party. No lifeguard provided, adult supervision required for anyone under 18. Huge private bath for changing.
