Mission Statement

The Trading Post is a community based business. I cannot do consignment without my precious community of wonderful consigners and consumers. The Trading Post works as a go between people wanting to sell their clothing and accessories and people wishing to purchase them. Some of the most fabulous finds are in the shop ! We put new items out all day long, everyday ! People wishing to consign with us receive a 50% / 50% split upon the sale of their item. Please call ahead if you wish to consign to make certain we are taking. 732-774-7455. Everything in a large contractor type garbage bag please labeled with your name and phone number, and date. "Excellent Place"

I have been shopping at Asbury park Trading Post since it opened. Not only is it in a very cool place but it has even better items. Among many things, I bought a beautiful Coach bag, Coach boots and designer jeans. All were in excellent condition and all at unbeatable prices. I highly recommend AP Trading Post!

Trading Post AP opened in 2010. We started out as Asbury Park Trading Post and slowly morphed into Trading Post AP. We are a coed high end consignment shop located in downtown Asbury Park at the bustling corner of Cookman and Bond Street . Taka is directly above us and the Bond Street Bar is right down the street. We offer beautiful, high end clothing for men and women. We hand steam each and every garment prior to pricing and hanging . We offer gently used clothing and accessories at a fraction of the original cost. We have Louboutin, Chanel, Prada, Hermes, Gucci, Jimmy Choo and Manolo Blahnik more !

1) Consignment Service

Trading Post goes through your bagged items and takes out what we think we can sell. We steam it, price it , enter it in the computer , hang it on our hangers and sell it. What does not sell after its 90 days on the floor , will be donated to local and national charities.

Trading Post AP is a relationship between the consigner and consumer and we hope that our consigners not only consign with us , but also shop with us. We are happy to sell your items for you and we appreciate you helping support small local businesses because without your continued support we cannot offer this business opportuniy.

2) At Home Clean Out

Trading Post AP will do at home closet clean outs by way of appointment. Please call 732- 774-7455. There is a $50.00 fee for this service at the time of the service. Thank you.
