Billsboro Winery sits on 60= acres overlooking the northern end of Seneca Lake. Surrounded by century old walnut trees, terraced fields and a deep wooded ravine, our idyllic setting sets the stage for wine lovers to enjoy. Since 2007, Vinny and Kim Aliperti, along with their three children, embarked on a quest to create great dry wines from locally grown grapes.

Billsboro Winery is conveniently located along the Seneca Lake Wine Trail, just 5 miles south of Geneva, NY at 4760 West Lake Road, also known as Route 14. Look for our sign on the west side, between Armstrong and Reed Roads.

As we all know, it takes great grapes to make great wine. Billsboro sources its grapes 100% locally. Our primary grower is Sawmill Creek Vineyards, located on the slopes of southeast Seneca Lake.

Positioned between the 41st and 46th parallels, New York is entirely north of California. It receives almost 2 hours a day more of sunlight than the Napa Valley. What is special about New York is that it's prime growing regions are situated around large bodies of water which help prevent winter injury. When the Finger Lakes were carved out of bedrock by south moving glaciers, the melting ice deposited towering gravel ridges at the base of Seneca Lake. The steep, well-drained slopes provide excellent air flow and drainage, and early season warm up.

1) Wine Tasting

Billsboro provides samples of their wines for taste and purchase. Tastings begin at $5 per person and include up to 6 different wines. Billsboro can accommodate groups up to 10 people without an appointment. Local cheese, sausage, and chocolate are also available to taste and purchase. Umbrellaed patio tables are available for picnicking while enjoying a wine by the glass or bottle.

2) Private Events Venue

Billsboro is happy to host your small private event for up to 60 people. Whether it's outside on our lovely patio, under the lights, or inside our intimate library room, customer service is our top priority.

3) Pizza On The Patio

Join us for our seasonal bi-weekly Pizza on the Patio and enjoy live music and gourmet wood-fired pizzas. Reservations are required by phone. Check our website for schedule and availability.
