"Quality Still Exists" Since opening our business in 1979 that has been and will continue to be our motto. We strive to give everyone we deal with MORE than they expect. Whether it's servicing the air conditioner in the spring or tuning-up and making a safety inspection on their gas furnace in the fall. We fabricate sheet metal in our own shop when installing a new furnace, air handler, or air conditioning system. Most of the sheet metal for an entire duct job in made in our shop. Our number ONE goal is a happy customer that's completely satisfied with our company no matter how large or small the job.

American Home Heating & Air Conditioning is a family owned business. We opened for business in June 1979 in north St. Louis County on Redman Road. In January 1994 we purchased Herrington Heating & Air Conditioning that was located on Merrill Dr. in St. Charles. That office was closed in 1998 and everything was consolidated with the St. Louis office. We moved to our present location at 537 Boone's Lick Rd. in March 2004.We are a BBB A rated business and have been a member since 1991.

1) Air Conditioning

We service and install residential and light commercial air conditioning and heat pump equipment. We recommend Amana air conditioning systems, Rheem/Ruud air conditioning systems, and Goodman air conditioning systems for our customers cooling needs. We can obtain other brands of air conditioning equipment if requested.

2) Heating

We service and install residential gas heating and electric heating equipment. We also install heat pumps. We recommend Amana gas furnaces and air handlers/electric heat. Also Rheem/Ruud and Goodman.
We also service and install hot water and steam boilers.

3) Indoor Air Quality

We offer a control that mounts on the blower system of your heating system that kills over 99% of certain contaminants in the space. It also reduces gases and odors, it also reduces particulates and kills mold, bacteria and virus in the space it is located. It technology comes from a company named Global Plasma Solutions. 4) Humidification

We install Aprilaire and Honeywell whole house humidifiers. Both come with an option for outdoor sensors, this helps prevent moisture gathering on windows when the outdoor temperature drops below a set point.

5) Air Cleaning Systems

We service and install Honeywell and Aprilaire electronic air cleaners. They are 115 volt systems that operate automatically whenever your blower on your furnace or air handler is running. We also offer a 24 volt air cleaner as well. It does a really good job but does have special filters that have to be changed as needed.
We also offer a air purification control that kills mold, bacteria, and virus in the space. Call for details.
