In business since the beginning of 2013, Karen's Kritter Care is an In Home Pet Sitting Service. We have had the privilege of providing excellent care to a number of Kritters within the Stanislaus County and parts of Merced County as well!

Our motto is, "Your babies are our babies too!" Karen's Kritter Care believes that all pets are family members and we will treat them with the same love and respect that you give them!


FREE INITIAL CONSULTATION:

At Karen's Kritter Care, you have the opportunity to meet us and let us meet you and your pets at a free initial consultation (a.k.a. Meet and Greet).

At the Meet and Greet, we will discuss any special care your Kritter/s may need, medication they will be taking, things they like and dislike, and how you want them to be cared for while you are away.

A service contract, cancellation policy, vet release/instructions, will be provided to you to fill out prior to your departure date.

Once the paperwork is filled out in its entirety, Karen's Kritter Care will return as close as possible to your departure date as possible, so your pets remember us, and they know that we are allowed into the home.

We will do a little walk-through with you to review everything in the contract so we are all going in the same direction for the care of your Kritters while you are away. This is also when we pick up the payment and keys to your house.

We are proud members of NAPPS (National Association for Professional Pet Sitters), PSI (Pet Sitters International), ASPCA and PETA. We regularly donate funds to Cat House on the Kings, and The Humane Society. We also help with the local feral population

We are bonded, licensed and insured.

1) Services

Our 30-minute visits include:

Feeding and washing pet food dishes
Fresh water on each visit
Short Walks
Scooping litter boxes
If requested, texts and pictures for each visit to let you will know how your Kritters are doing!


ADDITIONAL SERVICES PROVIDED AT NO CHARGE:

Turning lights on and off to give your home the appearance of being occupied
Opening and closing drapes or blinds
Collecting mail and/or newspapers
Watering indoor and/or outdoor plants
Taking trash bins to the curb on trash day, and/or bringing them in


OTHER SERVICES AVAILABLE:

In addition to in-home pet sitting, we provide daily potty visits, dog walks, play and cuddle time. You can relax knowing your babies are not alone, or are not "holding it in" all day long!


OVERNIGHT PET-SIT OR HOUSE-SIT:

We will stay in your home overnight to care for your pets for 10 to 12 hours, depending on your needs. We provide lots of loving attention for your pets and the added security of having someone in your home all night. Fees are $75.00 per night (a surcharge may apply for more than 3 pets). A
standard visit fee applies if we visit during the day for potty visits.


KEY PICK-UP AND DROP-OFF:

No charge as a part of the initial visit. Typically we keep a key to your home after the visit. It is coded (no names) and locked in a fire-proof safe when not in use. If you want us to pick up the key for future visits or drop off the key after we've finished our visits, a $10 to $15 per visit charge will apply.


HOLIDAY SURCHARGE:

A $10.00 PER VISIT surcharge applies to holidays


PAYMENT OPTIONS:

Karen's Kritter Care accepts cash, as well as checks. We do require payment prior to or on first pet-sit visit.
