Jim Huebner / Founder

Jim's unique ability to build the extremely complex structures of which Level 2 is famous for comes from Jim's vast experience combined with his mastery of Computer Aided Drafting and Design (CADD). Jim got his start in the building industry when he started at the Catalina Preparatory school in 1977. Here he learned the structural nuances of framing homes. This was also the fuel that fed his passion f or building throughout his life. He started his apprenticeship right out of high school in Lake Tahoe, working for various contractors on the North and West shores. Then in 1980, Jim hired on as the framing foreman for Fox Construction, in Santa Cruz, California. Six years later he acquired his contractor's license and operated as a framing sub-contractor in the Santa Cruz and Truckee regions.

Abe Toor / General Manager

Abe Toor has spent over 2 decades managing a wide range of commercial and residential projects throughout Northern California. After receiving a Construction Management certificate and his General Contracting license in 1992, he started a successful construction management and structural design company which he ran for 10 years. With a strong foundation in general engineering and a continually expanding portfolio of commercial projects ranging from $1M to over $50M, Abe brings to Level 2 widely diverse experience in contract management and construction administration. His passion for the mountains and rock climbing has inspired great attention to low impact and ecologically conscious development which is imperative to intelligent building in the Sierra Nevada.
