Bessie Mae's is a well established, one-of-a-kind shop, housed in an 1892 mercantile building, near the historic town of Dahlonega, GA, and has been serving the community and surrounding areas since 2003. We are the only Country Primitive store in the area. You will find merchandise here you would only find in New England. We have Antique Furniture, Dried Sweet Annie, highly scented Candles, Rustic Antiques, Farmhouse Decor, Vintage Decor, and so much more, we have everything to make your house a country home.
The merchandise changes with the seasons, so you won't find the same stuff in the winter months you find in the summer.

Cheryl started the business in 1998 In Chamblee, GA. in an Antique Mall
When we moved to Dahlonega in 2003 Bessie Mae's was created in a small yellow cottage 5 miles from the Dahlonega square. We are still at the address in the big white 1892 mercantile. There was 3 buildings at the address at the time, the little cottage was torn down in 2016. Now there are 2 buildings.
