I have more than fifteen years of experience in providing quality eye care. My real passion is helping people and teaching what I know. My practice began after finishing seven years at Indiana University in Optometry School and fulfilling my bachelors and doctorate degree in Biology and Optometric Science. I am a Board Certified Optometrist with Therapeutic and General Optometry license in Indiana and Ohio.

I am unique in that I perform the complete eye exam myself. I rely on old fashioned proven eye care combined with the very best technology used today.

My experience comes honestly after having undergone two eye surgeries. I was born with a crossed eye that turned completely inward and had surgery at age five.

During my post-surgical care performed by my optometrist in the early 1970's, I became fascinated by the array of lenses, drops, prisms, and colored glasses that were used.

I have a great compassion for those individuals that have a defect at birth, especially eye conditions.

In my studies, I learned that vision is intricately linked to the general health and welfare of all individuals. Eye disorders restrict sight and limit the ability of people to function. Studies have found that individuals with eye conditions that can be improved with eyeglasses, contact lenses and/or laser surgery tend to report a better health status. Their ability to function and address daily living conditions, as well as interact at a higher level with family and friends are also improved. In short, seeing well leads to feeling well and enjoying life.

After Working On Thousands Of Insurance Claims For Eye And Vision Care Insurance, She Has Become An Expert At Politely And Clearly Explaining Patient Vision Insurance And Medical Insurance As It Relates To Our Patients Eye Are Needs. She Also Maintains Her Fifth Year Of Service In My Office And Is Very Skilled At Complex Glasses, Frames Adjustments With Tools, Screw And Notepad Replacements.
