Each dog benefits from our small group size (maximum of 15 dog per day). Our daycare caretakers are trained in basic obedience, pack mentality and the pack leader roles. Every guest will benefit from their expertise, focusing on light training throughout the day and one-on-one individual care. We know that no two dogs are exactly alike and therefore, we cater to each of our guests' individual needs.

While with us, your dog will enjoy a day packed full of play and attention. All groups are supervised at all times. In addition, with our focus on behavioral training, your dog will receive special attention on specified manners and behaviors.

Our daycare is fully indoors, with the option to separate the group as necessary for slow introductions and "time outs". As a rule of thumb, we do not separate groups based on small and large dogs, as it is more natural to mix the groups. It is also a great socialization tool to teach our guests manners as it relates to playing with different sized dogs. Our small play groups and trained staff allows us to provide this incredibly important socialization skill.
Our facilities were specially designed with your pooch in mind with a state of the art ventilation system, independent climate control for the daycare areas, indoor grass, and specially sealed floor made specifically for dogs. Every dog goes outside for a short walk and potty break around noon.

All guests are required to be up to date on their vaccinations (titers are acceptable) and provide proof from your veterinarian. We also require an enrollment form be completed so we know more about your fur child in order to make it the most comfortable and productive day at our daycare.

We highly recommend Bordetella (Kennel Cough). If you choose not to get the vaccination for Bordetella, you will be required to sign a waiver understanding the increased risk your dog is at for contracting kennel cough

1) Grooming Services

Basic Bath and Brush

This is an essential service that maintains the appearance and hygiene of your pet. Each Basic Bath and Brush service at Tabby & Jack's includes:

Highest quality shampoos and conditioners free of any chemicals
Velocity dryer (we never use cage dryers!)
Full brushing out
Nail trimming
Ear cleaning
Check of the anal glands (dogs only)

Your dog or cat will look fuller, healthier, and more colorful. They will look and feel younger... and smell terrific!

Light Groom
This service includes all basic items above plus our professional groomers will trim the hair in the following areas:

Paws
Ears
Eyes
Loose ends
The potty and private areas
Other places as required

This does not include a full haircut, so it is appropriate for dogs and cats who want to maintain the current length of their coat, but simply need a clean-up and touch up!

Custom Professional Groom
This service consists of a full haircut from nose to tail, usually using scissors and clippers. Haircuts start with a full bath, brush, and blow dry, and include all the elements described in the packages above. You decide exactly how you want your pet to look, how long or short the hair should be, and whether your pet should look full bodied or slim.

Tabby & Jack's groomers will work hard to give your pet the individual look you want that will assuredly bring out the essence of its personality. If your dog or cat is matted, the desired haircut is limited to a short length.

2) Mobile Grooming

Do you have a dog or cat that is particularly adverse to grooming? Does your pet have an anxiety attack when they have to travel in the car? Then mobile grooming is just what you need. Our full service van will come straight to your door! We provide full grooming services to the Madison area with our mobile grooming van. Mobile Grooming is popular among pet owners with Seniors and Cats!

3) Holistic Grooming

Holistic Grooming is the practice of providing the most relaxing and stress-free environment possible for your pet by eliminating stressful practices and providing a calming environment.

We use only the most gentle chemical-free products, infuse our salons with relaxing essential oils, minimize your pet's stay to 1 to 2 hours, and do not use cage dryers. Consistent grooming provides your pet with confidence and style; pets certainly know when they are clean and looking good. Well-groomed pets are happier, better behaved, healthier, and more outgoing. Just like all of us, they feel good when they look good.

Tabby & Jack's offers a complete line of fine grooming services to bring out the best of appearance and personality in any breed. We work carefully, never rush, and do not overbook appointments. We always take our time and do it right.

4) Pricing

There are many variables in pet grooming, such as whether your pet has long or short hair and also if the hair is matted and tangled.

Therefore, there is no set pricing for fine grooming. Our groomers set individual prices for each pet, largely based on the time required to complete the chosen service. Factors which determine the price of a service include:

Amount of scissor work
Brushing
Clipping
Degree of matting
Difficulty of the cut
Disposition of the animal
Drying time
Length of hair
Size of pet
However, you will find our prices quite reasonable. We will be happy to quote you a price range over the phone.


De-shedding: $15 and up. (rejuvenates the coat)
Deep Coat Conditioning: $5 and up (depends on length and thickness of coat)
Teeth brushing: $12
Teeth Scaling: $25 and up
Nail trimming: $12 (included with any bath or haircut)
Paw moisturizing treatment: $10

*Prices are in addition to the price of a bath or full groom

5) Daycare

$22.50/day ($15 for 1/2 day for a limited time.
Drop off as early as 7:00am and pick up by 6:00pm. Early drop off and late pick up is available for an extra fee. Every guest will get a free 5 minute walk outside at noon. This includes a potty break outside during the noon hour. Also included is a day filled with monitored play with staff that provide light training throughout the day! (We also include a report card describing how your dog did during the day!)

Have more then one dog needing daycare? Bring two dogs together the same day and save a $1 OFF each dog that day! (discount cannot be used in conjunction with any other discounts) $21.50/day

Buying multiple days at once helps keep doggie daycare more affordable so you can plan a consistent program for your furchild! Punch cards are available for 5 or 10 days and can be shared, transferred to another owner or bought as a gift for a friend. The punch cards never expire and can be kept at Tabby & Jack's for your convenience. Because the punch cards can be transferred and never expire, we are unable to replace any lost cards.
