Comfortable hotel/motel and kitchenette cabins and shaded tent camping or full hook-up RV sites on the Little Cimarron River.

Hunt in unit 64 or unit 65, fish in gold medal waters, or hike in either alpine or high desert paradise. Close to Black Canyon of The Gunnison National Park and Curecanti National Recreational Area with Blue Mesa Reservoir.

Centrally located to Ouray, Lake City, Owl Creek Pass, Silverjack Reservoir, Arrowhead Ranch, rafting, boating, horseback riding, fishing, hunting & hiking.

We have a general store loaded with gifts, souvenirs, beer, wine, liquor, hunting and fishing gear, and all the necessities.

Fresh baked pies - whole or by the slice.

Cafe, propane, maps, groceries, ice, bait, information, fishing and hunting licenses, laundry and shower.

Limited wireless internet connectivity is provided in and around the store for our guests for free. No large downloads/uploads and no streaming video/movies allowed.

We are open 7 days a week between May 1st and just prior to Thanksgiving. General hours of operation are 8:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. Tuesday thru Saturday, 9:00 or 10:00 a.m. - 8:00 p.m. Sunday, and 8:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m. on Monday. 1) Rv And Tent Camping

All RV and tent sites are situated along the north bank of the beautiful Little Cimarron River and shaded by cottonwood trees. All of the sites are spacious and have their own fire pit and picnic table. There are small portable bar-b-ques available to borrow, and some built in bar-b-ques among the sites, as well as a group area with a fire pit, picnic tables and more bar-b-que facilities.

2) Pleasant Valley Cabins

Comfortable hotel/motel and kitchenette cabins. All cabins have their own bathroom/shower facilities. All include a refrigerator, microwave and coffee maker, and kitchenette cabins also include a stove top, toaster, dish soap, dish towel, dishes and basic kitchen utensils, pots and pans. All cabins include bedding and towels and the availability of adding an extra bed or extra guests within occupancy limits.

3) Hunting

Pleasant Valley is located in the heart of some of the best deer and elk hunting country in Colorado. Access to the Cimarron State Wildlife Area is just a few minutes drive away by OHV or passenger vehicle. Access to public lands, national forest and at least 75 miles of off road vehicle travel and trails within unit 65 is provided by two OHV and automobile permissable roads beginning about a 1/4 of a mile on either side of Pleasant Valley. You can hike straight in to unit 64 across highway 50 from our location or use OHV trails for access into that unit about 1 1/2 miles away. Get your animal unofficially scored on the premises. Local topographical and hunting maps can be purchased in the Pleasant Valley store as well as basic hunting and camping gear, knives and clothing.
Licenses for deer, elk, small game, turkey, bear, fishing, state parks, and all other Colorado licenses can be purchased in the Pleasant Valley store.

4) Scenery

Pleasant Valley is located about 1/4 of a mile from Big Cimarron Road which is the eastern access point for Owl Creek Pass and some of the most stunning examples of mountain fall colors in Colorado. We are centrally located for fall color and vacation day trips to Black Canyon of The Gunnison National Park, The Colorado Monument, Pine Creek, Blue Mesa Reservoir, Telluride, Arrowhead Ranch, Taylor Reservoir, Gunnison, Crested Butte, Ouray, Ridgeway, and the Highway 92 scenic loop.

5) Fresh Baked Pie

We are famous for fresh baked fruit and cream pies sold whole or by the slice with a generous scoop of vanilla ice cream, if you choose. Available for dining in or taking out. We also sell novelty and packaged ice cream selections.
