Dr. Zev J. Myerowitz Jr., D.C., cSSHP., Dipl. Ac. (IACA), M.S., Dipl. Ac. (NCCAOM), L.Ac..

A Maine Native, Dr. Zev J. Myerowitz Jr. graduated Summa Cum Laude with a B.S. in Human Anatomy from Cleveland Chiropractic College in Los Angeles, CA. He then simultaneously graduated Summa Cum Laude from New York Chiropractic College (NYCC) with a Doctorate, as well as from the Finger Lakes School of Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine (FLSAOM) with a Masters degree. He is certified in Sports Science and Human Performance, NYCC’s athletic specialty certification, and has worked with hundreds of athletes successfully. His clinical experience is international, having completed an internship at the Hospital of Traditional Chinese Medicine in Hangzhou, China. He was the first intern at FLSAOM ever admitted into the prestigious internship at the Columbia Pediatric Oncology ward in New York, NY.

Dr. Zev J. Myerowitz Jr. is the only licensed chiropractor and fully and distinctly licensed acupuncturist in Southern Maine. Consequently his father, Dr. Zev J. Myerowitz Sr. represents the only other Maine practitioner with this distinction and practices upstate in Holden along with Dr.'s Ben and Daniel Myerowitz. By holding the highest clinical education in two extremely different yet synergistic health care disciplines, Dr. Zev employs a much broader skill set to quickly and effectively get you well.

Dr. Zev is passionate about living life to the fullest. He is an accomplished Ironman triathlete and currently competes throughout New England. He can often be spotted riding and running throughout Cape Elizabeth in the mornings and on the weekends. Dr. Zev is continuously furthering his education and is up to date and the newest and most effective techniques in both of his health care disciplines. He teaches alongside Dr. Zev Myerowitz Sr. at the International Academy of Chiropractic Acupuncture.

Amber Smalley, M.S., LAc, cCA

Amber attended the Finger Lakes school of Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine (FLSAOM) at the New York Chiropractic College (NYCC) where she was president of her class for 3 years and graduated with a Masters of science in Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM). Amber is nationally board certified in Acupuncture by the NCCAOM (National Certification Commission for Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine). As an L.Ac. she has in depth training in a diversity of TCM techniques including, traditional acupuncture, scalp acupuncture, abdominal acupuncture, eastern dietary therapy, Tui Na, Tai Qi and Qi Gong. Amber has completed the certificate program, Zheng Gu Tui Na Level 1: Full body sequence, under a TCM master. Her clinical experience is also international, having completed a clinical internship at the hospital of Traditional Chinese Medicine in Hangzhou, China. Amber treats a multitude of conditions, and her goals are to prevent disease and promote health, energy and vitality through a team approach between the patient and practitioner. Additionally she has a special interest in fertility support. Along with her eastern medical knowledge she is a certified chiropractic assistant.

Amber began her study of the human body at the University at Albany State University of New York where she graduated magna cum laude with a Bachelors of Science in Human Biology. Her knowledge of anatomy and physiology has helped to shape and inform her work as a clinician.

Amber truly enjoys the Maine outdoors. Growing up in the Adirondacks, Amber has found much similarity and enjoys hiking and days spent out on the water. She enjoys volunteering at various animal shelters and is an advocate for the World Wildlife Fund.
