After experiencing being the recipient of over 30 fillings during my life I must say "WOW!" not "ow". Eric's first actual "work" in my mouth has been the MOST uneventful experience ever. First time in my life that I FORGOT I had been to the dentist just an hour after the numbing wore off. ( I was actually chewing some ice when I realized I was chewing with the freshly filled tooth). The professionalism and GENUINE care received is absolutely remarkable.

Dr. Eric Wilson took over Wilson dental in November of 2015 after finishing an Advanced Education General Dentistry residency in Juneau, Alaska. He joined an extraordinarily experienced team and is committed to providing complete, medically focused, friendly service for whole families.
In 2017 Dr. Deidre Smith joined Dr. Wilson after finishing her residency at Carilion Roanoke Memorial Dental Clinic. Dr. Smith would like use her hospital based training. To provide not only general dental services but also to serve patients with special needs that may not be able to be seen in the general practice clinic.
1) General Dentist
Dr. Wilson and Dr. Smith provide dental services for patients of all ages and enjoys seeing children, even those as young as 1 year old. The perform a full spectrum of services from cleanings and fillings to crowns, root canals implants, and veneers.
2) Cleanings
Shirley Jones and Sherry Wall are Registered Dental Hygienists providing periodic oral cleanings and deep cleanings for patients with gum disease.

My daughter has a very difficult time with dentist and i can say this Dental office nurse staff and dentist were amazing fo her to have tooth pulled.

I have been going to Wilson Dental for about 40 years. l was heartbroken when Dr. Dave died, but Dr. Eric has stepped into his shoes without missing a beat. Had a filling today, resulting from a broken tooth. No pain or anxiety. I always feel like I am being treated like family when I go there. I love my dentist!!
