Apple Blossom Manor is owned and operated by Sharon Cook. She has over 20 years of care giving experience and has worked with seniors of varying levels of care needs from basic to level three and even bed bound on hospice or other more intense care needs. Sharon knows the power of a gentle touch, a kind word and the importance of a smile. She values genuine human interaction and finds that it’s the best way to show her residents how much she cares for them. Her goal is to provide excellent person centered care in a family like environment where her residents can feel at home rather than confinement in an institutional type of care facility. At Apple Blossom Manor your loved ones will be treated with dignity and respect allowing them to retain their individuality, independence, choice and privacy while receiving all the care they require at a reasonable price.

If you or someone you know is unable to carry out the necessary activities of daily living it may be time to consider a more supportive living situation with all of the familiarities of home. Apple Blossom Manor is a private adult foster care home that provides seniors with 24 hour care that encourages independence while providing assistance when needed. We create individualized care plans for all of our residents. Our staff members have all passed background checks, have been First Aide and CPR certified and have completed their Care Giver Preparatory Training as mandated through Northwest Senior and Disabilities Services. We provide care assistance such as nutritious meal preparation with snacks and beverages in between meals, medication administration, varying delegated nursing tasks, personal assistance with dressing, bathing and toileting as needed, housekeeping, laundry and on/off site activities. Family members can put their minds at rest knowing their loved ones are being cared for in a safe and secure place.

Apple Blossom Manor is located in the beautiful city of Keizer Oregon. It is within 5-10 minutes of shopping centers, clinics, hospitals/urgent care, senior centers and the freeway. We offer private, nicely furnished bedrooms or our residents can use their own furniture and decorations. Each room has a private half bath, cable T.V. hookups, and intercom monitoring system. We have multiple common rooms with plenty of seating for our residents and their visitors. Our outdoor seating area provides the perfect environment for summer BBQs that overlook our raised bed garden areas. Our hallways are equipped with lighted handrails and our floors are hardwood for ease of mobility. We have a heated shower room fully equipped to provide our residents with a luxury shower that includes leg rubs with pre-warmed lotion.

1) Medication Administration

We ensure all medicine is given on time as directed by your health care professional. All medication administration is documented in accordance with the State of Oregon laws and the policies of Northwest Senior and Disabilities Services.

2) Housekeeping

Our staff cleans daily to keep the house not only looking fresh, but smelling fresh.

3) Laundry

We do personal laundry as well as the bed linens once weekly unless our residents needs require more frequency.

4) Nutritional Meal Preparation

We serve 3 delicious and nutritionally balanced meals a day with snacks and beverages available at all hours.

5) Heated Shower Room

We have a heated shower room fully equipped to provide our residents with a luxury shower that includes leg rubs with pre-warmed lotion
