Welcome to Iron Lion Karate! We have been serving the city of Camden proudly since 2015! Come and learn Karate in classes especially designed to serve our loving clients and families. We offer karate, self defense, weapons and fighting classes.
Sensei Craig Bazan began studying karate in Camden NJ when he was five years old. Sensei Craig has been here for over fifty years and he knows the special concerns that exists in a city like Camden. We, meaning ourselves and our children, can't afford to be fragile and afraid in our environment and expect to be successful and independent. Our program builds strong and confident people of all ages, capable of making better decisions for themselves and their families. The ability to protect ones self is a recipe for happiness. We are not ashamed to say, ""we are here to make a difference!"" We are proud of what we do, and we are glad to be here. Iron Lion Karate is close, affordable and life changing.
Iron Lion Karate opened in the spring of 2015. Sensei Bazan is the owner and head instructor. Sensei teaches an Okinawan style karate-do called Goju-ryu. Goju is a Japanese word that means hard and soft. This system uses a combination of hard striking techniques combined with soft blocking applications.
