Medical Career & Technical College began in 2011 and was founded by educators and healthcare practitioners, Kristi Bertrand and Trisha Mullins. Their desire was to create a caring family atmosphere where students feel at home and welcomed while also providing a quality training environment staffed with passionate educators. Another goal was that Medical Career & Technical College would provide education at an efficient cost and yet still provide a curriculum that surpasses all others, as the owners are both trained, credentialed, and worked in healthcare, and both previously taught in medical careers at various higher education institutions for numerous years; this brings a uniqueness to the school in comparison to schools that focus as a ""business"" and not in quality healthcare education.
