Dr. Zamft has a Ph.D. in Education Administration and Supervision from Fordham University. He is a certified New York City/State secondary school teacher and the founder and administrator of In-Service Education Institute of New York, Inc. He is also President of Zamft Tutoring, Inc. Hy specializes in one-on-one and very small group tutoring for standardized tests. Hy has extensive experience with students who are high achievers as well as students who learn differently.
Every tutor at Zamft Tutoring is a state certified secondary teacher with at least five years of experience in tutoring. We carefully check our tutors� credentials, experience, and references to make sure they are qualified to provide the outstanding quality of tutoring that is our hallmark. Equally important are their personal commitment to their students and their passion for helping young people overcome obstacles and achieve amazing new heights in their school work and test scores. All of our tutors love what they do, and their interactions with students are guided by understanding and compassion as well as a drive to encourage and motivate.
