Possessing a life-long passion and love for animals, Wendee Durham decided in 2015 to walk away from a successful career, from behind a computer, and do her own thing.
Wendee had noticed that the Forest, Virginia area pet boarding and grooming businesses had become pricey and crowded, including a place she had been taking her dog. With the help of Wendee's husband Lee Durham (who's interior building skills are on display throughout the cabana), they opened Paws 'n Play Inc, located in the large house between Curtains, Blinds, & Bath and the Briarwood shopping center.
The owners are proud of the cheerful and multi-colored 3,000 square feet of guest bins, which includes accommodations for cats. There is also a nice enclosed backyard where guests can hang out. There are open runs inside, and dogs are allowed to roam as they please.
